SAP Work Manager - Functional Location/Structure Search

I am wanting to know what people have done to improve the Functional Location/Equipment Search in SAP Work Manager.

Currently our business process uses the Functional Location/Equipment Structure from ih01 to create a notification, but in SAP Work Manager you no longer have a Functional Location/Equipment Structure.

Has anyone come up with a solution to have a Structure of Assets?

Hi Jeff,

I'm not sure if I totally understand your requirement, but in the ctLocation complex table you have the "parent" ID of each functional location. Therefore you can replace the standard Work Manager simple complex table search of functional location for a complex table tree search.

With this you will be able to search navigating through the hierarchy from the top parents.

Work Manager 6.2 provides the ability to download functional location and equipment information to the mobile device that you can then search offline to find the correct Floc or Equipment and then create your notification from there.

While not a direct replacement for ih01 it does provide better searching compared to previous versions of the product.
