A Step gets struck once in a week even loads are successful inside

Dear All,

Am facing this issue from past couple of weeks.

A step (Source system to PSA) gets struck in one of the chains during Monitoring each time once in a week (Usually Fridays).

But Data load goes successful (Source system to PSA) ,But status remains yellow and we have to manually trigger the chains every time.

Am unable to rectify the error..as it loads successfully without getting struck on other days.It is not a daily error.

Can someone please help me in resolving this?

Hi Swathi,

This is due to program error.

Check the below Notes and implement if they are suitable for you environment.

Thank you so much Prashanth for your inputs.

They are planning to upgrade to new SP level in July.

Issue is causing due to lower support packages which would hopefully get fixed after the upgrade.

Hi Swathi,

Try to change the timing of the Process chain on friday and try.

We had similar issue when we were on lower support pack of BI.7.0 SP13.

After updating latest SP our issues got resolved. I wish you consider this .

Is the data load on Friday usually more than the other days?

also, cross check like below:
1. If all idocs are processed
2. Run Step by Step Analysis.

Update us on the status.
