BEX Broadcasting Issue

Hi Gurus,

I’m trying to use the scheduling function in BI to broadcast a report  am using the steps below and getting the error message.

Kindly let me know if there are any settings that need to be made in my local system as i have recently changed my system.

Hi,

Did you already ask your BASIS team about this? May I know what are you trying to send? Is it from Analyzer, Query Designer, or WAD?

Hi Loed,

I am trying to broadcast a query from portal, once i right click and select send email or broadcast to portal i am getting this pop up , ususally i would be directed to the broadcaster execution window.

Hi,

Did you use other PC or laptop? Perhaps the server was not included in the HOSTS file of your machine?

Location:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC

By the way, did you try broadcasting report using other PC or laptop?

Hi Sayanto Das,

Can you please apply the parameter ms/redirect_version as per the following SAP Note:
972514 - Empty BEx Web Analyzer instead of BEx Broadcaster

Please follow the below steps as well,

1) Please check the com.sap.ip.bi.bex3x iview setting under 'content
provided by sap'. This should have the version set as SAP BW 2.X/3.X.

For doing this, please go to the relevant portal link and then follow the path:
Content Administration -> Portal Content ->  select BEx Web present under Portal Content -> Browse
(from the left side of the page) -> on the right side of the page select SAP BW 2.X/3.x for Version (present under BEx Web on the right side of the page)

2) Please set the 2.X/3.X iView property 'RequestMethod' to POST.

For doing this, please do the following steps by going to the relevant portal link:
1)Please go to Goto System Administrator -> Support -> Portal Content Directory
2) Select PCD Inspector
3) Navigate right upto com.sap.ip.bi.bex3x iview and open the property window.
4) Add a new property by clicking on the P icon right top corner.
5) Add property ‘RequestMethod’ with value POST.
