SAP MDG (For Material) Data Replication not triggering IDOC

Former Member

Hi,

I am facing an issue in SAP MDG Data Replication for Material Master.

All ALE/IDOC configuration done as per the SAP MDG Notes (Refer the link below).  Also DRF part is also done.

http://help.sap.com/erp_mdg_addon61/helpdata/en/5b/362c74ba324597ace35c6422370afe/content.htm?frames...

The IDOC is getting posted from BD10 from MDG Hub system to ECC. So IDOC configuration is working fine.

When I am creating Change Request to create material in NWBC and all approval is done the IDOC is not automatically getting triggered in MDG Hub system.

I had configured all the DRFIMG settings and created a Business System and a Data Replication model as well. But still the IDOC is not getting triggered automatically.

Kindly anyone help me on this, What I am missing on this.

Thanks,

Vinish.

Hi,

I am getting following error during data replication in DRFOUT - “ Enterprise Search Connector for Object type MATERIAL is not available”.

Is there is any step that needs to follow. Please note in our case we will be using Hana Search.

Thanks,

Vinish.

Hi Vinish

Even I faced the same error but after adding -

In BRF, I haven't added any step...Please check following -

1. Outbound implementation - 194_1 - make sure you have assigned this.

2. outbound parameter - PACK_SIZE_BULK

In business object type - add 194 - MATMAS.

Try this and let me know if it works.

Hi Kiran,

Thanks. It worked out.!!

But I have one query - I have to remove I_MAT to use 194_1. Is they both works similar?

I hope there is no impact to data getting replicated from MDG hub to the ECC client system.

Also, when I am doing Auto replication, there are two IDOC is getting generated for the same Material (for same record)

Kindly confirm on this as well.

Hello Vinish

Even I am checking what is the difference between I_MAT and 194_1. What I feel is if we use BRF+ based replication then we have to use I_MAT and with replication model - 194_1.

But with 194_1 it works perfectly. There is no impact at at all.

For auto replication - not sure why 2 records got generated? Whether you are doing replication via BRF+ as well? Check that.

Did you include "replication" step in your workflow? If not, you need to schedule the replication job to run frequently.

Hi Abdullah,

For -

  • Data replication using Application Link Enabling (ALE) with the Data Replication Framework

also I need to include the replication step in the workflow?

If yes, can you provide me the detail input on including replication step in the workflow.

Please note I am using BRF+ (Rule based workflow - WS60800086) for material.

Thanks for your Answer.

Yes, you still need to include the replication step. There is a "replication" background step type that you can insert into your workflow.
