Change in Cost center group

Hello Experts

I have a requirement to change cost center group for some cost centers. When I am doing so system is giving message that ' Function is not supported.....' How can I do so?

Hi

I think you are trying to do this through cost center group maintenance. This is not possible from here kindly see the error details.

You need to change it through cost center master data maintenance. Go to KS02 and do the required changes.

BTW this all is decided at the time of initial discussions with the client, why this is needed now? Just for my understanding if you update I would be obliged.

Hi,

Try the changes from the t code: OKEON...............

Select cost center and use the functions (One level up & Assign) then Incorporate function to change the cost center group in the standard hierarchy.

Yes that is correct but for users, change in cost center master is much easier. Also our users are not authorised to change the hierarchy. Thanks for help.
