Real time table access

Former Member

Hi everyone,

Since we have a business with fast inventory rotation, my boss wants to see (near) real time inventory reports with visualization, which is a joke right now, because our intern creates the same report every other hour .

Can you provide me a solution that gives me access the MM module's tables directly in real time?

Thanks,

Laszlo

Hi..

Create a SAP query and give access to your boss or to your intern. I suppose this is a best way to fetch real time data. A very good link on the process:

Hi,

You can refer report of inventory  with   Transaction Code S_P00_07000139 instead of table access to your boss.

if you do not have any special stocks, you can use MARD table to display the stocks. Even when you look at table.. you need press refresh button to see updated table.. Visualization - I am not sure how it can achieved

The standard MB52 report always shows real-time stock but of course it has to be executed every time to pull latest data.

On ECC, I don't think there are any reports that automatically update or refresh every few minutes.

With some custom code and depending on your specific landscape, you may be able to publish the data from MB52 to another web-page and have this get updated every few minutes. Basically what your intern does but more refined and high-tech.

The report suggested by Bijay is also good for moves.

SAP Business One offers real-time dashboards.

Visualization is best handled outside of the core ECC instance
