Report application server failed

Hi Team

When I am creating a new report by selecting 10 fields, 1 group, 1 summary field and set Sorting on the field that is marked for summary, and preview the report before saving, Iam getting Error: Report application server failed.

this error goes away once Refresh the page. or save and it and view the report it works.  Request you to provide any idea why the above error occurs.

I am using SAP Business objects BI Platform .net SDK redistributable 32 bit 4.1 SP5

Hi Sudeep

The screenshot is not familiar to me... E.g.; this is not the "out of the box" CR Designer.

So, you are using the report creation APIs to create this report?

Is this a 3rd party app?

Is is some specific 10 fields, group, summary that cause the error? E.g.; if you choose other 10 fields / group / summary doe it work?

What is the database? How are you connecting to it?

I was able to fix this issue by reloading the same page when the error has occured as this is occuring very rarely for me.
