ME23N - print preview of header text

Dear experts,

I have a problem where for a newly created PO form (tr. ME23N), if I go to Header Text and invoke the Sapscript editor to include a standard text (display via so10), when I print preview the PO form the standard text is not there.

If I do the same process for Header Text for an existing PO form - so it was created and later on I change it and add standard text in Header Text - in print preview it appears.

in BOTH cases - new or existing form - it prints ok at the printer.

The form is a copy of MEDRUCK standard form.

Hi,

Use READ_TEXT function module and pass ebeln, Language, respective Text ID*, and Text object as EKKO,

the output will be in Internal Table. Read the Internal in a Loop and display the content using TDLINES field .

* Text ID will be changing according the text which you select in Header.
