Release Strategy tab is not coming in ME51n

Dear Champs,

One issue is coming , when I create new PR using ME51N tcode by Adopting old PR. So In new PR , Release strategy tab is not displayed.

When I checked Old PR then Release strategy tab is displayed in that but when I have created new PR using Adopt functionality then In new PR release strategy tab in item level is not displayed.

Is there any configuration for this or should I write some code to display release strategy tab?

Hi Satyen,

There can be lots of reason for this. But most likely it is due to some configuration / data .

Check the configurations under

SPRO: Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders first.


Normally the approval processes get activated based on PO value . e.g. If PO value is more than 1000 USD then it will go for approval and then only the release strategy tab will come into the picture.
