What is the maximum file size to test in Message Mapping?

Hi guys,

We are on PI 7.3 and I would like to know what is the maximum size for a file to test in the message mapping in ESR? When I test small files, everything works, but when I try with xml message of size around 40MB, it doesn't even load the instance in the test tab and gives me Java heap space error.

Is there any way I can increase this?

You will need to increase your PI resources.

There is no such restitution on the filesize and it depends on your hardware resources.

You can increase the heap size locally. refer to Praveen's reply in below discussion

Having said that may i know why do you want to test your mapping with a 40mb message? it would be good to split(if you can) and trace root cause.
