A problem appears when a user is assigned to collective role for which no Role Menu has been defined. So by default, when the user logs on to SAP, its user menu is defined by the combination of menus defined in the single roles that are assigned to the collective role. How is it possible to avoid this default(?) setting, that means only role menus, defined via collective roles, determine the user menu. Is it via one (or more) of the Set Values defined in the table SSM_CUST ?

Hi Stephan,

probably you have to Area menu and assign to user defaults

(su01-> defaults) or alternative create favourites menu

which looks similar to the menu.

to be more clear create area menu using tcode Se43.

and then assign to user profile.
