Hello,
Can you tell me if in business Objects BI 4.1 SP4 PATCH 7, the version
managment tool allow to do management by branch ?
example :
I have a basic universe and N versions of this universe with some
modifications of functionnality
in each univers. How I make So that N modifications is made on a
precise version of my UNV ?
For example, I want that the V.2 ; V.3 ; V.4 modification will be in
the v1 universe.
is it possible to do a modification commit on all and to grep the
modification on one univers.
Example:
unv en V.0 => unv basic
a UNV en V.1=> with add a modification
a UNV en V.2=> with add other a modification
a UNV V.3=> with add other a modification
a UNV V.4=> with add other a modification
Example , I want to get back to modification of V.2 ; V.3 ; V.4 on V.1.
Thanks,
Hi mate,
You are on a little problem , each Universe is independant of the others, it means, you can not commit all changes or merge all the versions. You must apply each modification in the unique universe you are needing.
