ADSO : Standard Infoobjects not visible in Eclipse Bw modelling Tools

Hi,

I'm trying to create a new ADSO in Eclipse BW modeling Tools.

System is BW 7.4 SP9 with hana revision 85.

After Installation, I can see all my infoprovider, create a new one (New Composite Provider).

But, during the creation of an ADSO, I have the following issue when i want to add some standard Infoobject.

Thanks in advance,

Regards

Julien

Hi,

Please allow the Fact, that BW/4HANA is completely different then SAP BW 7.40

at this time there are no usable InfoObjects available. The first usable Business Content for BW/4HANA will be delivered with the first Support Package for the DW4CORE component later this Year.

Until then is is crucial, that you configure the SAP BW/4HANA system correctly.
See the SAP First Guidance Document - SAP First Guidance - complete functional scope (CFS) for SAP BW/4HANA

The BW-MT are downwards compatible. So they can also be used for SAP BW 7.40 on HANA.

there Version 1.13 and 1.14 are already no longer in maintenance (nlim)

BW Modeling Tools for SAP HANA BW Release Note 1.15 Patch 01, note 2361868

Please also Note that certain corrections are necessary for the ABAP backend to work correctly with the latest BW-MT. See the SAP Fisrt Guidance Document for more Details

Hi Julien.

Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?

I already updated my BW to SP14.

Thank you.

Hi Rodrigo,

You need to activate the BW Search active in T.Code RSOSM for searching BW Metadata Repository.

Hi !

Thx for your reply.

I solved this issue yesterday.

The new BW Modelling version (1.13) does not show the infoobjects list even if we activate the BW Search in RSOSM. I do not know why, but it happens.

I have another laptop with an older version (1.11) and it works fine.

So, I downloaded from SAP Marketplace the version 1.11 and now its working fine and I can see all the objects I need. If you try to download from Hana Studio or Eclipse, you just can see and install the latest version which is 1.13.

Its just a workaround, but works.

Thank you all.

Hi, Do we have structural fix for this? I have the same issue and with the work around, I could use it properly but interested to know the solution.
