partial stock return in insp 04 ?

Hi Gurus,

i have scenario my client want to use insp type 04. when processing the Quality stock they want to send partial stock which quality rejected to shop floor for rework.

can anybody let me know how can we do this. EX: today production confirmation ; 100. stock lied in Quality . quality clearance for 60. client don't want to cancel the confirmation and re confirm they want send back 40 to shop floor for re work . quality defected stock need need to update in a separate storage location. can any body let me know how can we do this.

Mahesh,

During UD stock posting send the stock to Blocked stock or any Rework storage location from there you can process the rejected stock for Rework.

Yes. That's the idea. You define a storage location for rework and post the defected quality to this location. This is basically an unrestricted location.

You can control the stock by controlling the access to this storage location. Also, configure this location to order type. Any order type, other than rework, shouldn't be able to access the material from this st location.

Hello Mahesh,

You need to maintain block/rework stock storage location for material. You can do this through MMSC.

I would suggest that you should exclude this storage location from MRP for correct planning results.
