Mass Dispatch of Operations for Specific Order

Dear PP Expert,

I am trying to do mass Dispatching of Production Order Operations for Capacity.

I tested with CM40, but CM40 will dispatch all Production Order and also Planned Order related to the Work Center.

Can we have something like CM40, but only for specific Production Order / Planned Order?

Or can we have function to automatic dispatch operations when Production Order is Created/release?

Steve,

Check CM40 for mass processing of capacity levelling.

For your own defined selection screen check user exit CY190001.

Check below document for some guidance.

Hello Steve,

You can do this with CM25 or CM21 to dispatch operations for Production Order or planned orders.

Also in CM40 user exit option is there.

User exit CY190001 FM EXIT_SAPLCY19_001   User exits to change order operation.

Using report RCCYMAB1 (see Note 63302), you must define a variant for the background run, in which the planning table is called with  work center and order relevant for planning.

Do you have any example of using User exit CY190001 FM EXIT_SAPLCY19_001 to select which operation to Dispatch / Allocate?

The Report RCCYMAB1 is basically the same like CM40 is it?

Hello Steve,

For transaction CM40 program is RCCYMAB1 so it will be same.

RCCYMAB2 report executes the mass processing. The parameters are used that are defined in report RCCYMAB1 and saved under the background job name.

Hello Steve,

You control the capacity availability check and the finite scheduling with the help of the overall profile defined in scheduling profile OPKP. However auto dispatch option is not there in standard SAP.
