Repair Tab missing in Repair Order(VA02)

Dear Gurus,

            In Repair Order process after notification has been created(repair order also created in Notification simultaneously), in IW52 through document flow entered Repair order(VA02). At item level choose Line Item and when i Click Repair tab system navigates to ITEM OVERVIEW, in item overview REPAIR TAB Is missing. Could any body suggest settings for Repairs tab in ITEM OVERVIEW.

Please check two settings and update me.

Have you maintained Indicator in VOV8 sales document type settings? You can see this field on left top of the page in VOV8.

Have you assigned repair procedure to your item categories in VOV7?

Hi

please check in standard document type RA. You can see this repair button and a tab as well in this document type. It is also there in RAS but I don't know why you are not able to see it. It is there even before entering any material in order.

In va02 Repair button(which was highlighted by you) is displayed and when i press that repair button following message appears a

and takes me to following screen where there is no Repair tab. Need Repair tab in following screen to process repair that is missing

Hi

Did you try with standard document RA? Don't change any standard settings and try with RA order type.

After seeing this message I have strong feelings that you have missed some configuration may be for item category. Check RA and its item categories settings and compare with your settings.

I don't have system access, but your current setting is "C" looks wrong..

   For SD Doc catergory there is no seperate option for CS.

Hi Murali,

Goto IW52, Then click on document flow then click Repairs/ Services Request no (Sale Order),

System will take you to sales order/Repair request = goto Menu option Edit=>display range=> select all items; Now in All item Tab you will see morethan 1 item for Material Item above message will be shown where as for service Item it will take you to Display repair screen.

Tested in IDES with sales doc RAS.

Make sure you have a repair procedure assigned to your item category (e.g. IRRS).
