Dear Experts,
I have to break one report in sections based on a column. Now i have the following requirement for the Page number.
For Section 1: 1-1-1 (Section 1-page 1)
1-2-1 (Section 1-page 2)
1-3-1 (Section 1-page 3)
1-4-2 (Section 1-page 4 - Final page)
For Section 2: 2-1-1 (Section 2-page 1)
2-2-1 (Section 2-page 2)
2-3-1 (Section 2-page 3)
2-4-2 (Section 2-page 4 - Final page)
and so on.
Could you please help me to to achieve this?
Thanks,
Rupam
Hi,
Let me rephrase the requirement for better understanding:
The report is Grouped by 'Branch Name'.
In the page number as I have already mentioned, there are 3 parts i.e. # - # - #
Group 1: 1-1-1 (Group1-page 1-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
1-2-1 (Group1-page 2-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
1-3-1 (Group1-page 3-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
1-4-2 (Group1-page 4 -Group is complete i.e. 2)
Group2: 2-1-1 (Group2-page 1-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
2-2-1 (Group2-page 2-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
2-3-1 (Group2-page 3-Group is continuing i.e. 1)
2-4-2 (Group2-page 4 -Group is complete i.e. 2)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Rupam,
I think you can try adding a cell inside the section's body and give a try, if the cell is placed in footer it wont help as headers and footers are outside Section's scope.
Try to analyze the different formulas you can bulid to reset the numbers on each section and add it with the Page() function.
I will also try this further and let you know..
Thanks,
Avinash
can you please show me some example.
It would be more helpful if you also provide some sample data with formatting you required
Thanks,
SB
