Hi all,
due restrictions in our governance rules I have to restrict the data source selection to only Excel and Business Objects Universes in SAP Lumira Desktop. Is there any configuration file for SAP Lumira where I can hide all other data sources?
Thank you,
Eric
Hi Eric - please look at Greg Wcislo's blog and I recommend looking at the updated help SAP Lumira 1.25 – SAP Help Portal Page for the latest settings since the blog was posted last year

Dear Tammy,
thank you for your fast response. I read in the
Greg Wcislo's blog that the prerequisite is

If I have a look into the CMS and navigate to applications tab I do not see SAP Lumira as an application in the list. As an additional information - we are running BOE on Linux plattform ...
Do you have any idea why SAP Lumira is not listed in the application tab?
Thank you,
Eric
Hi Eric,
As of today, there is Lumira Server for BIP platform available only for Windows OS. As you mentioned BOE is on Linux OS, LS4BIP on Linux will be available in Q4
However please see Ramu's blog here http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-64123#comment-595943
Thanks,

Dear all,
Meanwhile patched our BOE to "SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 5 Patch 6 Version: 14.1.5.1698" but if I use the LumiraGovernance.properties I got the error:
here are the configuration in the LumiraGovernance.properties we use
enable=true
adapter.type=boe
authentication.type=secLDAP
rest.url=http://<our-boe-server>:6405/biprws
useSSO=false
Any ideas why it is not working as expected?
Thank you,
Eric

This is a closed thread; please create a new discussion
In the meantime, there are 4 SAP notes on this error; one says it was fixed in BI4.1 SP5 patch 3 but you are on a higher patch
The last note says to contact SAP Support - see http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2132101
Hi,
please search for notes at http://support.sap.com/notes
with keywords 'error retrieving trusted data discovery' - there are lots of articles there (9 of them) for you to peruse for a solution
regards,
H
