How to cancel the A/p Credit memo?

Is it possible to cancel the credit memo? if yes could any one explain me what is the procedure i have to follow...

Dear Fysal..

You can set it up no issues, but it depends upon your client policy for the cancellation of the credit note.  My suggestion it should be with in one month ..

Hi Fysal,

It should be in month period because if you had created a Credit note say on 15-05-15, and now if you want to cancel it today then the system will not allow to do so,this will protect documents from users to cancel in any date.

Otherwise what will happen if u had configured 365 days then user can cancel the document whenever they want.

If u had stored for a month then it will be safe for system and also for user to cancel documents.

One more question this date if i fix it for one month and later if i want to change the date again , decreasing is possible ?

I saw that some decimal settings we will not be able to reverse it.

for example decimal settings if you change 2-4 then decreasing to 2 is not allowed.

is there any other way to reverse that?

Hi Fysal,

I checked in Indian Localisation SAP B1 V 9.1 PL 5.

Its allowing me to cancel AP Credit Memo by right clicking in the document and then click on "Cancel"

Yes i noted that option, but when i cancel it asking me to change posting date cancellation approval from 0 to the required number of days.

IS there any issue if i change the marketing  documents cancellation approval to 365 days?

Hi Fysal,

There is no option to cancel the AP Credit Memo in SAP B1. You have to pass the reverse JE to cancel the transaction.

In SAP BUSINESS ONE , this process in not allowed, it is not possible to cancel the Credit Notes

This is a system Procedure
