Costing for materials with split valuation activated

1387 Views

Dear All,

I want to calculate standard cost for materials with split valuation activated.

Scenario is all materials(Rm,Sfg and Fg) can be procured(A) and produced(B), so in this case separate valuation type and valuation class are assigned to materials.

At header level price control is 'V' but valuation class is blank and at child level:

  • at A price control is 'V' and valuation class is assigned.
  • at B price control is 'S' and valuation class is assigned.

Now while calculating standard cost system give error because valuation class at header level is not assigned.

My queries are:

At header level do we need to assign valuation class for costing purpose?

If yes what should be the treatment for valuation class at header level in OBYC(which G/l will be assigned)?

At child level we will able to see costing type 1 & 2,if no why?

While calculating std cost how the data will be update at Header level and at child level?

For calculating std cost in split valuation scenarios do we need to take care of any extra steps?

Please guide me

Regards

Nitisha
