How to restrict user from entering delivery challan quantity not more than open PO quantity

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement to restrict user from entering delivery challan quantity not more than open PO quantity.

How the same can be done?

Delivery quantity needs to be maintained as per the Delivery Chalan quantity. There is no control in Standard to restrict the field.

You can write an enhancement using User Exit or Badi and control the user(s) as per your requirement.

I dont think entering the incorrect quantity will create any problem in the stock or Financial accounting. So, it is better to have user discipline.

Try using Badi MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI

As per my knowledge there is no standard way to fulfill your requirement. This field is to enter what is there in the Delivery Challan and not a mandatory field.

Check with the Technical team for meeting your requirement.
