Personnel Number based search not working while maintaining support Group member



We are on E-Recruit 617, SP 7.

When Administrator is trying to Maintain Support Group, while trying to add members to a support group, the open search by Personnel number (F4 option, First Name, Last Name based search) is not showing any employees or personnel numbers. It is blank and empty.

But when Employee number is directly given, the person is accepted and role can be assigned.

Why the personnel number based search is not working ?

Any issues with TREX ?

Which configuration points to be checked for this issue ?
