How can i find ABAP documentation in help.sap.com.
I want to find ABAP documentation with ABAP versions.
I am sure ABAP will have documentation based on it's different versions, how do i find them?

My mouse pointer was already hovering over 'Alert moderator' button, but just for giggles I googled 'ABAP Help' and the results were quite surprising. It shows Help editions for 4.6, 7.0 and 7.31 as top results, but it seems that afterwards the Help article 'ABAP Programming' seizes to exist.
If you use the Search field on help.sap.com (and don't forget to hit 'Global search' on this super-intuitive web site) and search for 'ABAP 7.4' it only finds 'what's new' type of articles. Search for 'ABAP Programming' (and then sort by date descending because all links look the same and there is no way to know which one is for which release) and you'll only get 7.3 version.
7.4 was announced on SCN in 2013, so I'm quite puzzled - did SAP not get around yet publishing ABAP Help for it or was it renamed / moved somewhere else? Maybe is in the loop on this...
@OP - ABAP Help for current version is available in the ABAP Editor. If you don't have access to an SAP system then not sure reading official Help is a good approach anyway. You'd be better off with Horst's blogs (specifically regarding new stuff in 7.4) or Paul's book. Even when available ABAP help is not a very good reading for the beginners.

Surman,
On the help portal help.sap.com, navigate to technology and you will find the different versions of NW. Clicking on each versions should give you detailed info on the release.

In the most recent SAP version i found a lot of subtopics, where can i possibly find ABAP documentation for SAP Netweaver 7.4. Also do i require a marketplace id to see the documentation?

Apologies, i am new to ABAP.
If i download any of the documentation it asks for Marketplace id which i don't have!
So i am not able to download ABAP documentation

You should request for one.
If you are looking for new enhancements within ABP for NW 7.4, search for articles by Horst Keller as I had stated earlier. You will find plenty of updates from him on various enhancements to ABAP.
Thanks,

Thank you, Horst! No wonder I couldn't find it - 'help' is not even mentioned anymore. Even when I google the exact string 'ABAP keyword documentation' version 7.4 is link # 6 down the list, way below your SCN blog.

The problem from my point of view is that search for 'ABAP Help 7.4' in Google does not find either blog or documentation. Not sure many people would realize they need to search for 'ABAP keyword documentation' because on SCN we usually urge the beginners to read 'ABAP Help'.
Although to be fair it's not the issue only with ABAP documentation. Searching for official SAP information in most cases is a bit of a, um, challenge. But it's the whole another story...
I guess we'll need to redirect folks to 'ABAP keyword documentation' instead of 'help' from now on. Thanks again for a reply!
