Hi

I have logical model A and logical model B and I want to drag entity from Model A into Model B; I am able to do that, but PD is allowing the entity to be updated in Model B. Ideally, it should be a read only symbol in Model B.

How do I accomplish this?

Thank you

Krishna

drag with the right mouse button. When you let go of the mouse, select 'Paste as Shortcut'.

Alternatively, copy using Ctrl+C, then use Ctrl+K to paste as Shortcut

Thank you. I think whichever method I use to drag and drop entities from Model A to Model B, As long as Model A is in the workspace, PD allows Model B shortcut entities to be edited. Once I detached Model A from the workspace, the shortcuts in Model B have become read-only.
