Classical Alerts not visible

Hi Experts,

I have created an outbound interface which sends data from SAP to NonSAP. Proxy to File Scenario and i am using SOAP adapter.I have created the classical alerts in Tcode ALRTCATDEF and alert configuration in RWB-> Alert Configuration.When i execute the interface I can see alerts in transaction ALRTDISP(Display alerts when created) but unable to see in ALRTMON(Alert Monitoring) or ALRTPROC(Process Alerts). Do I need to do anything more and what is the exact purpose of the transaction?

Hi All,

Finally we have arrived at the solution. In transaction ALRTMON it displays only the alerts belonging to MPA_Template alert category.But our alert category is custom defined.

In transaction ALRTPROC we need to check delivered checkbox then the alerts are displayed.

Please also ensure you have configured the email address correctly for the user that is to receive the alerts.
