storage bin search strategy

Behaviour of storage bin search strategy P if we have empty bins with inconsistent naming convention.

If I have empty bins as

A1-01-01

A2-01-01

A10-01-01

then bin in A10 row will be suggested only after consuming A1 & A2 rows ?

I suggest using:
A01-01-01

A02-01-01
A10-01-01

I think it will not search bins as you like if you leave it like that, but you can set up a storage bin sort  indicator that overrides the search so you can manually specify the search sequence inside the storage type. You can do that in LS02N. Those fields are "Sort fld plcmnt" & "Sort fld pick.".

When strategy is P- according to Storage unit then  there are other factor like SUT is allowed or not is the bin type is main which help to decide the bin

with L-Empty bin it goes by bin nomenclature provided cross line put away is not maintained
