issue in file codepage conversion 1100(latin-1) in SAP

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to convert the binary to string using SCMS_BINARY_TO_STRING fm with code page 1100(latin-1).

then after trying to convert it from string to soli using CL_BCS_CONVERT=>STRING_TO_SOLI. after the conversion again the codepage is changing to different code other than 1100(unable to find the what code page it is).

my system code page is 4103. what would be the reason the codepage is getting changed when using CL_BCS_CONVERT=>STRING_TO_SOLI. is it that this method does not has the code page conversion and automatically converting it to 4103.

if that is the case, how can convert the string to soli with keeping the codepage 1100.

kindly advice. appreciate your help.
