Hi,

I am Using SMP 3.0 SP07 for Android native app development. And my doubt is, will SMP support Android 5.0..?Because, When i try to run my app in 5.0 device i am getting error mentioned below.

"Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Didn't find class "com.sybase.mo.MessagingClientException" on path: DexPathList[[zip file "/data/app/sample.UI.Droid-1/base.apk"],nativeLibraryDirectories=[/data/app/Sample.UI.Droid-1/lib/arm, /vendor/lib, /system/lib]]".

But its working in other versions.

Thanks,

Rathish.KC

Have you or has someone else got this running in the meantime?

I'm still getting the same exception when trying to deploy a native app to a device running Android 5.x or 6.x - everything is working fine for 4.x.

As far as I know Android 5 should be supported since SP07 and Android 6 since SP11, if I'm not mistaken. I'm on SMP SDK SP12 and am testing with a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge - but with no success.

EDIT: got it running with the information in this note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2211719

Hi Jitendra, I have a similar issue as my system mandate use of SMP3.0 SP7. however, I find that compliance sheet you have shared as well as any of the specific SP release notes share the supported OS Platform version for a SPxx version.

I am confused as to how can I find what is the maximum Android device version that can be supported by using SMP3.0 SP7. My devices come with Android OS 5.1.

Hence either I need to downgrade my devices or I need to upgrade my SDK. Kindly help.
