Formula variables locked - BRAIN 435

Hi,

I have a serious problem whereby about half the formula variables are locked: when I (or any of my colleagues) go into edit, the message 'Lock against external changes' appears and changes are not possible. There are no lock entries, no associated transport request - this has just happened this week.

I have tried editing a specific formula variable for Alt UOM entry using view V_RSZGLOBV through transaction SE11 to change offset length but get the error message 'No entry required on Dimension ID' when trying to save. Dimension ID is 'Number', which is required.

Does anyone know what is going on and how to cure this (unlock all formula variables)? There is absolutely nothing on OSS for message BRAIN 435 or locked formula variables (I know an FEP upgrade will sort this but need an immediate solution).

Hi,

First unlock all the variables and assign then to a new package. I hope this will help!!

Thanks - but I can't find an associated transport request (package?). How do I unlock them?
