SAP HANA Cloud Connector Portable version

Hi all,

I haven't permission in my work computer to install SCC in Windows 7...Is there a portable version? Has anyone had this problem and was able to fix it?

Hi Luis,

there is also the Developer version that could be considered a Portable version. However, it does not offer the Windows Service/Linux daemon and is not upgradeable. Check out https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#cloud, download the developer archive extract it and start it with go.bat/g.sh. Ensure that JAVA_HOME is pointing to Java 7 in the shell you start it from

Hi Luis,

this is strange. Isn't there any information shown when executing go.bat? I would at least expect some error message. What about the log files, do they show anything?

Hi Markus,

No information is presented when I execute go.bat file, and in Log folder there is no file. It's so strange. I've followed steps presented in documentations:

SAP HANA Cloud Platform

Following Next Steps once I've executed go.bat file, but ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED is executed .

I'm going to tell First Line for install Productive SAP Hana Cloud Connector.

can you turn echo on in the batch file and check whether it is hanging at some place?

Hi Markus,

I've tried to execute batch file from CMD and this error occurs:

 

But JAVA_HOME variable was not set properly!

I've changed value for JAVA_HOME, and now it's working successfully!
