When I run a Winshuttle script, I oftentimes get an SAP GUI Security popup message that I have to respond to in SAP. This forces me to be at my desk as the script is running to prevent the application from timing out. Is there a way to stop these popup messages?

Hi Clark,
Can you please provide us some more details regarding the error or pop up messages? Please let us know which transaction or program you use and it will be helpful if you can please provide us a screenshot of the popup.

Abhisek

Hi Abhisek,
This SAP popup message comes up when I run SQVI queries run other t-codes and when I click on attachment saved to a FI document. The message says SAP Gui Security warning and it provides a drop down selection of possible ways to answer. The question is "Do you want to allow?", possible responses are "Always Allow" or "Never Allow." I choose "Always Allow."
Thanks,
Clark

Hi
In SAPGUI options go to Security->Security settings->Open security configuration
You will see there all entries you created with "Always allow"
Edit entry with appropriate directory, in place of file name (or its part) enter *

Go to SAP GUI Options > Security > Security Settings.
Default action is ask on my SAP Logon 730 version.
In security configuration, I am allowed to set default action as Allow.
Play around with settings and choose option best suited to you.
