Develop with NDWI 7.0 for Web AS 6.40 - Import Required Software Components

Hello,

I use NWDI 7.0 (NW 2004s).

In SLD i have created a software component. This component should run on Web AS 6.40. I have add the dependencies for Build Tool 6.40, Engine 6.40 an Tech Services 6.40.

I have create a track in CMS. I see the dependencies 3 for Web AS 6.40. In Transport Studio I must ceckin the 3 sca for this dependencies. I see the files but they are version 7.0!!!

Can I import the files for 7.0 or must I import the files for 6.40?

If I must import the files for 6.40: Where can I get the 3 files? I have no old jdi-system based on 6.40.

I have downloaded e.g. SAPBUILDT15_0_20000950.sca This file is more the 100 MB (an old sp12-file is 24mb).

If I copy this file to cms-inbox it will not displayed. What is wrong?

Hi Thomas,

If you refer to the note which Helmut has suggested it states that you have to extract the three sca files from the Build Plugin SCA file. Then you place the three sca files in the directory.

Hi Thomas,

you have to import the 6.40 files. This is described in SAP note 891223.

You need to have access to SAP service marketplace to download the files.

If you have an older 6.40 NWDI installation you can alternativly copy the files from that installation to the JTrans/CMS/indox folder of the new NWDI.
