Profile to Role Conversion

Hi Team,

In our system we have 3797 profiles of some pattern say example : *ZAOS* and these are HR Profiles. And these profiles has only the Auth Object : P_ORIGINCON and it has updated with the field values.

Now I am planning to give as a suggestion to convert all these to roles. What pre-requisites I have to check.? I am thinking I can go to PFCG and do a direct conversion of roles by using the option Insert from Profile and convert it..  Can anybody guide me whether it is a good approach? And suggest any other prerequisites I should check on this...? Please advice.

Hi Pavithra,

If All the profile contain the same authorization object...u can create a single role and assign the particular authorization object to the role manually.......m not sure about the solution...if this can help u in ne way.
