Dear All,

Getting the below error message in the new sap bw7.4 system with HANA as database when i m trying to activate the business content Info cubes.

Exception '' in progrmm 'SAPLRRMS,LRRMSU13,87' when passing type 'InfoCube' CUBE

BW System version is BW7.4

Database is HANA

Went through the note '1153581' in which it is mentioned to activate the infoobject '0IOBJNM'.

After activating the above object also, still the error exists and not able to complete the activation of Info Cubes.

Another point to consider is this is new system.

Appreciate everyone's inputs in this regard.

Yet to be attended by the BASIS team.

In the mean time, performed below steps as a workaround to fix the issue.

1) executed the technical content activation program in background & this got ended with similar kind of shortdump again

2) tried to re-activate the cubes from business content, but of no use & got the new error message which might help basis to understand the issue.

Error message:

System error: RSDU_ADD_DDSTORAGE_TAB_PAR_HDB/ HDB

Message no. DBMAN100

3) tried to change & activate the in-active cubes from RSA1 & this time was able to successfully activate the cubes....thank god...

But not sure yet why the activation is not happening from business content screen 'RSOR' & this will be looked into by our basis team.

Hi Kumar, did your BASIS solve this error?

I get the same erorr when activating BW business Content on  a HANA DB...but as of yet do not have the answer.

OK, I solved this for me, I debugged LRSDG_IOBJ_DB_READF40  which is called during the activation process,  there was a check on a handful of bi system infoobjects which were for some reason not activated; 0hier_node and a couple of others, I activated these and the origi Al activation now works.

For us the manual activation was the solution, also, and we have made the following steps:

1. Try to activate all inactive objects executing the report RS_TCO_ACTIVATION_XPRA in SE38 T-code. A log will be displayed in the end with some red objects.

2. Go to RSA1 T-code, search for the inactive objects that were displayed in red in the previous step. Right-click on the object and select Change. Now click on the activate icon from the menu.

For us the guilty one was 0PPM_VC1.

Happened to see a old post :

Apart from the note 1153581, there is another reply stating that the issue was resolved by Basis team, and has something related to database.

Not sure whether its the same case with your HDB as well.

Now I got a new error message after performing the below mentioned steps:

Diagnosis

A system error with the following parameters has occurred in the data manager:

Parameter 1 = RSDU_ADD_DDSTORAGE_TAB_PAR_HDB/

Parameter 2 = HDB

Parameter 3 =

Parameter 4 =

Do you have archiving(NLS) on top of the providers?

There are  technical content info objects missing or not activated which are necessary for archiving.

Please check if there are some relevant technical content infoobjects missing or not activated which are necessary for archiving: for example...

0ARCHDPAKID
0ARCHDOBJID
0ARCHRECNO
0ARCHREQUID

=> You can check this in transaction RSD5 if they are installed, but not active.

No NLS. This is brand new system.

I tried to activate technical content objects using the below mentioned program.

"RS_TCO_ACTIVATION"

That is also going for short dump with the similar kind of error message.
