Configured BOM could not be exploded Message no. 61258

Hi All,

I have created a subcontracting scheduling agreement for configurable material. There are two cases

1. Schedule lines created by MRP

The BOM explodes and components are sent to vendor. No issues

2.Schedule line created manually

Unable to create the line manually

error message

Configured BOM could not be exploded

Message no. 61258

Checked note  901654 . But the question is how come the BOM explodes for a schedule line created by MRP?

Hi Naveen,

Did you checked SAP note 73226 already. Though its old but still go through the same.

73226 - MRP: Error messages 61258 and 61259
