SAP GUI Connectivity

Hi SAP Experts,

We are having troubles configuring our SAP GUI. We have tried copying the configurations of the third party company laptop (which is working on our connection) but in our laptop, it still doesnt work. Please see the error message below:

It seems you are missing some contents in etc/services.

I guess that is a load balanced server with a sapms<SID> entry which then needs to be resolved to a port.

Either add the sapms<SID> entry to etc/service or change the sapms<SID> entry in saplogon entry to the correct portnumber so it does not need to be resolved.

Would you have to know how can we resolve this issue?

Also just to be clear, the third party laptop is working just fine when connecting to our LAN.

Would SAP Basis team can resolve this issue?
