Error: Configuring TMS on Netweaver Trial 7.3 (Operating System: Win7 pro 64bit)

Hey Folks,

I am new to SAP and got no BASIS-experience at all. I installed the netweaver trial and want to import some files. Therefore i got to configure the TMS. This wont work. I get 3 errors while trying to configure the transport domain. The problems seem to occur because of RFC communications errors with the system/destination TMSADM@NSP.DOMAIN_NSP.

I tried to document everything i did via screenshots. Please help.

Basic informations:

Using Virtual Machine: VMware player

Operating System: Win7 pro 64 bit

Trial version: nwabaptrial70304_64

1. Login screen: (also tried the same with user sap*)

2. Post installation actions (SE06):

3. Transaction STMS:

4. ERROR:

Hi Mortiz,

1st delete the TMS configuration completely and on file system, delete TP profiles. Then goto STMS again, and configure this system as domain controller, distribute profile.

For password, try with the other two options.

Test the RFC from SM59 and share results - TMSADM@NSP.DOMAIN_NSP

Hi Divyanshu,

i deleted the TMS configuration but I dont know how to delete TP profiles. I guess there aren't any. I tried to look at them via stms->overview->systems but I only get the message that tms isn't configured. I also can't find any tp profiles in the file system. (C:\usr\sap\trans).

If i do the SM59  RFC-test (after configuration of TMS with the upper failure). I still get the information:

Do you have any ideas, what I did wrong or how to go on?

Best regards

Moritz

What is the hostname of your system ?

Does that matches with what you see in STMS and in SM51 ?

How about permission of sap accounts ?

Try going to tcode - sectore and delete all red entries.

Hi Moritz

You have to create the new user id (equal to DDIC). and then start the TMS configurations as you already mentioned the snapshots. (Don't use the DDIC & SAP*)

Hey SS,

thanks for your help.

I copied the user ddic and tried it with the usercopy, but nothing changed.

Best regards
