Advantage of cost center planning in BPC

Hi guys,

what is the difference between cost center and profit center planning using SAP FI-CO and BPC ? and is there any advantage using BPC instead of FI-CO?

Hi,

1. you should ask your client, or the business about PC or CC planning.simply put, the one you plan on the cost and other you plan on profit.

2, BPC uses excel as its interface, it can do planning and consolidation with calculation, a planning and reporting tool.. FI-CO is more a management tool, like keep track of company's finance.
