How to lock the entire TI screen i.e. make it read only?

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement to make the TI read only once the Object is in Submit status, the actions for Submit has been configured through Approval Process.

Please provide your valuable inputs.

Thanks and Regards,

Stuti

    Hello Stuti,

I had a similar requirement. I couldn't find any straightforward way so did the workaround to post an error while saving the object and not allowing it to save.

Also another way could be to add a checkbox field and check it once the status is submitted. Then bind the read only property of each field in the extensibility explorer one by one to the checkbox. though this is a very cumbersome process.

    Hi Stuti,

I too have a similar requirement to make the TI screen when the status of my BO is "In Approval".

Are you able to achieve this requirement instead of manually making changes to the each field.Kindly share your inputs here.

    Regards,

    Navin

    Hello Stuti,

the only thing i found is the access restriction tab under administration->business users->acces rights->access restrictions where you can maintain the read/write options. Maybe you can create a workaround using it.

    Hello Navin,

I did it that time by individually binding each field.

Secondly, If it is based on business role then we can do it by editing page layout and assigning that page to business role.

    Thanks and Regards,
