TMR1 report- Business Content (İnfoCube)

Hello Everybody,

l need your help.  we have a TMR (Money Market Position List) report ın SAP ECC and l want to create a report in BEX Analyzer.

is there any data structure  (İnfoCube,DSO, etc ...) in Business Content?  OR If it doesn,t exist, how can l build my report? how can l retrieve the fields to represnt in my report? i am new in SAP BW, please explain in details.

Hi yusuf,

Is your TMR a customized report? if yes then it will not be available in the BI content.

To retrieve and use this data into BW you would need to build a data flow involing a datasource and infoproviders based on your requirement.

If the report values are directly available at a database table then you would at least need to build a generic datasource on that table and a dso on top of that datasource. you can directly have your query on top of the DSO.

If you are new to BW then you can take help of a BW expert in you team who can guide you the approach as per your business requirement.

Thanks a ton for sharing this valuable knowledge.

tmr1 is standard report of  ECC, ıt is not customized report.

How we can know if there is a datasource and data structure (Business Content) related to this report (tmr1) ?

Hi Yusuf,

The general process to do so will be to find out the tables from which the data is read for this TMR1 report. Then find out the datasources related to these tables using table RSDSSEGFD or ROOSOURCE by giving field names.

If not then you can simply search it on internet for corresponding datasource for the table.

Now check if all the required fields for your report are available or not and then think about enhancing the datasource or going for the generic one depending on the nature of your report.

if you are able to find a BI content datasource then you may be able to find the entire dataflow as per requirement in the same infoarea in BI content.

If not, then go for customized objects.

i searched in the google i did not find the any data source and targets.

can you check with the your funcitonal team around you and what is the report requirment.

Swati suggested by please fallow the all steps cretaing the generic data source.

get the data form ECC to BW

first check with the funcitonal team this based on the which program and this program form which table getting.
