Non Cumlative Cube Marker Values Issue

Hello Guru,

I am trying to take back up of Material Stocks/Movements Cube 0IC_C03 data (gets data from 2LIS_03_BF,2LIS_03_UM extractors)  to a back up ZCube.

I am seeing issue with Marker Records (Record Type =1), record count between 0IC_C03 and ZCube are not matching. 'Initial for Non Cumulatives' DTP is not picking all the Record Type =1 records from 0IC_C03.

We are on BW 7.3, don't have HANA, Note: 1426533 corrections are already applied on the system, we have 7.x data flow so 375098 note is also pursed. All the requests in 0IC_C03 are compressed.

Initial Cumulative DTP is not brining all the Marker values. 0IC_C03 has (suppose) 412 records, Initial DTP is only brining 395 marker records to ZCube. I checked /BIC/LZCube table, it's empty.

What am i missing?

Any help or input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

DC

    Hi DC,

You say that  'All the requests in 0IC_C03 are compressed' and then that 'record count between 0IC_C03 and ZCube are not matching'.

I hope you are counting the E table records.

Also, when you say ' /BIC/LZCube table, it's empty'  is empty does that mean that you have compressed the ZCUBE table as well?

'Initial Cumulatives' DTP is not bringing 412 records in the first place, its only extracting 395 from 0IC_C03. It doesn't matter which table I check, values aren't going to match.

My issue here is why Initial DTP is not bringing all Record Type =1 values.

      Thank you.

    Hi,

You say that it is not picking up all the marker records, which means it is partially picking up some of the marker records. Here are a few things you should investigate

    1. Identify some of the marker records that were picked up and some that weren't. And see if you can find any differences between the two sets of records
    2. Check the record counts for these sets of records between both cubes
      1. F/E table, record type = 0
      2. F/E table, record type = 1

    Regards,

    Suhas
