    Hi,

You can save the metadata of .UNX universe in PDF,HTML or text format only.If you need metadata in excel then convert the pdf in excel format.with this option you need to do some formatting after converting pdf to excel.

At the moment there isn't an SDK for the IDT so you'd have to either do a cut, paste and format job from a pdf version of the standard documenter or you could pay for a tool like this one from Sulis Systems (I have no relationship with them): https://www.sulissystems.co.uk/pages/IDT_documenter.asp

The other option is to wait for and upgrade to 4.1 SP6 as I believe that they are introducing an SDK, for which the SDK universe documenter will be upgraded at some point.

    Universe Documenter

Please download the above tool and it gives almost anything you need from the Universe in Excel format. Hope this helps you.
