How to send delivery notifications i.e. BOL and other outputs (pdf) to e-mail id maintain in Shipping point.

Hi All,

How to send delivery output notifications for e-mail maintained in shipping point. Condition record is maintained with all parameters Shipping point,Partner function 01 (VS), medium 5,date 4, communication strategy CS01, output device  and other checks.

But in partner functions assignment at delivery level system not allowing the assign the partner function 01(VS). How we can Use the partner fucntion 01 (VS )shipping point. OR any other way we can achieve this functionality.

let me know nay idea about this.

Hi PB,

Please try to achieve this by maintaining  the condition records for the relevant delivery output for the partner function "01" (shipping point) in NACE transaction.

Please check the below points also :

1- Partner function 01 should be assigned to the relevant output type

(Under V2 application in NACE transaction)

2- condition records should be maintained for the relevant output type

(In transaction VV21)

Thank you for your reply,

I tried with assign the partner function 01 for relevant out put type and maintained all other parameter medium, communication strategy,output device and checked print immediately . When saving the delivery system not getting trigger the default output in delivery. If we try manually enter that out put system proposing the partner function to enter there. So how we decide 01 partner is relevant for shipping point..

Hi PB,

What is the error system throwing while you are trying manual entry?

To check the relevant partner functions  please go to transaction NACE and under V3 application select your output and double click on partner functions on your right.

it will show all the relevant partner functions allowed for the output type. If nothing is maintained there please maintain 01 - Shipping point partner function there.(01 is the standard partner function for shipping point)

Hi Kanishk,

As i said earlier i was maintained 01 partner function for relevant output type  and maintained everything as shown below.

System not triggering the output default in delivery. Even if we try to add output  manually system proposing the normal partner function (customer name).. How the system know that "01" is shipping point.

I have once concern here. As shipping point is determined at item level what will happen if there are multiple line items and different shipping points for each line item ?
