OData Collection is not showing in while creating Fiori app using the Templatecustomiztion

hi Al,

I am trying to create the Fiori Master Detail view app using hana tril web ide. But when i try create the app uisng hte SAP fioriMasterDetails application template, I have created the destination for SAP trail Gatway system . able to See the available services. under "Service Information" using the Service Catalog option. I have chosen SaledOrderXXX ODATA service click on next. In the next page it suppose to show the Odata collection data. But it is not showing any OData collection to choose in Master and Detail section.

I was able create week back with out any issue now i am having the issue to display the OData collection, Please let me know is any have the same issue. I have attached the pictures for your reference.

Cick on next by chosen the SalesOrderXXX , not showing the ODATA collection in none of the fields.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have checked it before i log the issue. Even good that you have sent me screen shot of yours.

I also have same settings as yours. If there is any issue with destination. It will not shows the available services list in the Data connection step. But it is showing the list with out any issue. only i had issue in the next step.

Please see my following destinations settings. Any idea what else i need to check.

I am not sure if it is really making the difference, once modify yours Destination URL as mine.

The URL should hold only host and port. The rest of the URL should be defined as a WebIDEUsage.

odata_abap will be directed to /sap/opu/odata

I haven't made any changes. After some time it started working fine. I am not sure what is going on.

But i have one quick question related to WEB IDE setup in my current project.

What is the system prerequisites have WEB IDE to use in my project?

Do we need have SAP HANA cloud license  or HANA license is need to use?

or

We need to use the local version of WEB IDE?

I can share points on your last query:

It is better to use Cloud edition of Web IDE as local version will not be updated frequently.

To use the cloud edition. We need to buy the SAP Hana Cloud license or it is part of the Hana instance license?

do yo have any idea about those licensing details?

If you have hana instance already, we need to buy the hana cloud license separately for  WEB IDE or  only need to buy the SAP WEB IDE license ?

Kindly clarify if you aware of it.

Hi,

I have had similar problem but on local WebIDE.

In my Service there are 2 entity sets defined, I can see them in the Data Connection step  under the service I created, but when I reach Templete Customization stage, I can see only one of them in the Odata Collection dropdown.

Please let me know the cause of this issue.

I have checked all the options just in case.

Hi Michal,

I checked the metadata file, in that file it shows that for one of the entityset, the attribute is set to addressable:false.

But when I check in SEGW, the enityset is set to addressable; all the checkboxs are ticked.

I am not sure why this is happening.

Unfortunately I'm not an ABAP person, but I know that in order for the collection to appear in this dropdown they should be addressable:true and also requires-filter: false
