Dear Friends,
An FI Documents were created.
Going to T.Code FB03, I entered Do.no 102030,Co.Code:1000,F.year 2015 and Enter,
The FI Document 102030 displays all the details expect profit center is not displayed, but when select General Legder view, Profit Center and Cost Center is displayed.
It does not happen to all FI Documents.
Some FI Documents display Profit Center in the Entry View.
Please suggest, why Profit Center is not displayed in Entry View in some of the FI Documents.
All the help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Sridhar
Dear Sridhar,
In FB03, "Entry view" reads data from BSEG, while "General ledger view" reads data from FAGLFLEXA. You can check table BSEG to see whether there is profit center data there.
If you did not enter "profit center" data in for the G/L account during creating the document, then there would be no value in "Entry view". You may try to create a new document, entering profit center value for this G/L account in entry view, then the the profit center value will be found in "Entry view" after being posted.
In addition, please also make sure the field status of "profit center" is not suppress in T-code OB14 and OB41 for relevant account and posting key.
I hope this can help you.
Thank you & best regards,
Joyce Ji

Please check if the document is posted prior to New GL implementation. If So check or profit centre in Tcode GCAC. Also note that the table used in GL view is FAGLFLEXA and for entry view it's BSEG.
Please check & inform.

Hi Sridhar
The profit center may not be displayed in entry view for some of the GL Accounts like Customer/Vendor recon accounts. So if the document has been posted by a transfer posting using FB05 for eg, you will not find the profit center in entry view since the same is not supposed to be populate for subledger accounts. However, you will do find it populated in the GL view which comes in from FAGLFLEXA
Hope that helps
