Hi All,
I have requirement....client asked if it is possible to run the job (calculates data and store the results in a separate table) in multiple instances during the same time.
I mean scheduling the same job, let us say JobA multiple times with different parameters (calculation requirements) but run in parallel (not one after the other)
Our system specification is...SAP NW7.3 EHP1 Java on standalone host.
If any one has answer, please let me know how to achieve the above scenario.
Thanks,
Balaji
Hello Balaji,
I think you would best get this solved with a external tool, like Redwood Cronacle.
SAP offers also a free of charge version, but it has some limits.
If I understand you requirement correctly, this should be also possible to with Redwood Cronacle version of SAP CPS (Central Process Scheduler).
In Redwood/CPS you can build process chains and runs steps prallel and make sure, the follow-up program waits until, the jobs that needed to run parallel, are finished.
