Hi Venkata,

Hello,

Our issue is solved by loading the models and creating connectors.

First you need to configure enterprise search  SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT.

Make sure you provide the target client for the step "Collect System Settings", do not give 000, it will erase all the models.

Now, switch to working client and run ..

SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_WRK_CLIENT  ( last 4 steps of this task are included in below task ). so you can run this task only once , especially the step "Check if the Client is already Configured" .

SAP_ESH_CREATE_INDEX_SC -- in this task, provide the component and models . you can run this task repeatedly as and when required.

you can see the connectors created in esh_cockpit.

Hi Venkata,

We have accidentally run task list : SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT with client 000.

As you have mentioned don't run it with client 000 , we are now facing a runtime error "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED"

Kindly suggest how we can get all the models back .

Hi,

We are implementing the Fiori in our landscape and I ran SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT using STC01 in client 000 but for Collect System Settings we gave client 000 and started the job.

But in another SCN forum, they have mentioned not to give 000 it has to be the working client so I cancelled the running job but it ran for almost 45 min but got cancelled and then I ran it with client 500, the job got completed with warnings.

So just worried that any mistake we have done as in other forum they mentioned if we run it as client 000 it will erase all models.

Can you please confirm or any work around for that in case if it is erased like how to bring back the models

Hello,

Do not give working client. if you ran the job with working client ,then there is no way but to go for restore. OR  you can copy the relevant tables from source system thinking this is sandbox.

lets see if any of your scn colleagues have any other idea.

Hi Venkata,

In the following thread -

They have mentioned as

Collect system settings in task list SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT can be used to set the target client.

In our system here, first we gave 000 and then cancelled the job after some time and again gave client 500 and re-ran it.

Can you please confirm.

I am sorry.. its wrong. What I meant to say was, "Please do not run the job with client 000". if you run job with 000, then it treats 000 as target client , deletes the tables. Either restore or copy from source is only option then.

Hi Venkata,

I am sorry. I am confused, what do you mean by wrong. So in our case, it is fine then right. Please confirm. We were worried that the half run job with client 000 would do any harm.

At first I wrongly guided, so I asked you to ignore it.

Yes, we give target client. I understand you ran the job for 45 minutes in client 000. Now you did it target client. After completing the job, please check if Models are created or not ( in Enterprise search ). There are a couple of tables where you can check if entries are created or not ( I totally forgot about them, for me SAP guys helped )   in your case, I suggest you raise the ticket.

We had faced the same issue, I ran the job in client 000 and few tables got deleted. Fortunately it  was sandbox and those tables were copied from source system. We had to knock SAP's door and they helped in finding the tables/entries that were deleted.  Our issue was solved with the help of SAP.
