Source Excel file in path network drive

Hello,

We have an Excel file in a path drive, we created a report with the Excel file as a data source.

When using full path for Excel file \\server\folder1\folder2\file.xlsx it works.

When using network drive path for Excel file X:\folder2\file.xlsx it doesn't work.

The network drive path is created on server with enough rights.

The file seems to have enough rights as it is possible to refresh report through the full path.

We are using BI 4 SP4.

Do you have an idea to solve my problem ?

Hi Antonie,

I guess the network drive is mapped with current drives on server.

Mapped drive is not supported. Please use UNC path (full path) like you did to make it work.

Refer this and/or this SAP KBA.
