USER ROLE Assignment

HI. There

Can anyone explain top me why I see the LDAP query string of users when looking to see what users are assigned to a certain role. I can only see the LDAP string as the display string and not the user ID. It looks like its displaying only the unique ID to me.

We are running EP6 SP2.
