Cannot create new Privileges or Roles

Hello Experts,

I cannot create new Privileges in one of our environment. I get the following error message:

I also get the error with roles or dynamic groups.

I have exact the same settings (Attribute MX_ENTRYTYPE, Entry_Type MX_Privilege, MXRole) like in the other environment.

Why I get this error? How can I fix it?

Thanks and regards

Florian

    Hi Florian,

Confirm if you have "MX_ENTRYTYPE" attribute your IS? May be someone deleted?

    Kind regards,

    Jai

    Hello Florian,

Please check if attribute MX_ENTRYTYPE has entry type 'MX_PRIVILEGE' checked .

    See below screenshot.

    Hi Florian,

what happens if you create the privilege with "to Identity Store" pass with same values hardcoded in the pass?

    regards, Tero

    Hi Florian,

check if the DB User you used in your IdentityCenter has sufficient rights on the database mxmc_db. You can use the user mxmc_oper or mxmc_rt to connect your IdentyCenter with the db - just to look if this is a db security issue.

Normally, you should connect with the user mxmc_admin (I assumed you did). mxmc_rt and mxmc_admin don't have the same db permissions. The connection test doesn't check all required permissions. So, its worth to try this user, before you restore the db schema or reinstall the identity center.
